Many of the world's great travelers have roamed the lands of India, including Alexander the Great, Marco Polo, and Rudyard Kipling. Modern travelers will marvel at the immensity of the country, its extremes of population, vastness of land, and explosions of color & aroma. Though officially a secular country, spirituality is central to life in India. Here is the cradle of Hinduism, Buddhism, and the ancient Jain religion, and a place where Sikhs, Muslims, and Christians also coexist.
